Privacy Policy

Noria Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") operates Quasar on a fundamental belief: your financial data belongs strictly to you. This Privacy Policy explains our zero-knowledge data practices.

1. The "Zero-Knowledge" Principle

Quasar is engineered so that we cannot read your data.

Data at Rest: Your financial ledgers, receipts, and client data are stored in a local SQLite database wrapped in SQLcipher on your own machine.

Data in Transit: If you utilize our snapshot sync functionality, the payload is end-to-end encrypted using XChaCha20-Poly1305 before it leaves your device. Our servers (Supabase) only store unreadable ciphertext. We cannot harvest, read, or sell this data.

No Telemetry: We do not use background analytics, tracking pixels, or usage telemetry within the Quasar desktop application.

2. Website & Payment Data

Merchant of Record: When purchasing a license on norialtd.com, transactions are securely processed by Paddle.com. We never see or store your credit card information.

License Delivery: We only receive the email address you provide at checkout, which is mathematically required to generate, sign, and email your Ed25519 cryptographic license key.

3. Third-Party Integrations & AI

Quasar executes AI models entirely on-device via local vector memory (ChromaDB). We do not send your sensitive invoices or accounting queries to third-party APIs.

4. Your Rights

Because we do not possess your unencrypted data, requests for data deletion or export must be executed by you, the user, directly within the Quasar application on your own hardware.
